The January 6th detainees have been pretty heavy on my heart & mind.
Through December 31, 2022, $2.50 from each purchase of any of my arrangements of The Star-Spangled Banner (harp*, brass quartet*, or brass quintet*) will be donated to Citizens Against Political Persecution, an organization aiding some of the January 6th political prisoners. (This post has not been approved by or sponsored by CAPP.) Many of these defendants have been held in horrible pre-trial conditions for over a year. (Read some more of my thoughts on Jan. 6 here.)

Don’t need any sheet music, but want to support these detainees & their families? Please consider donating to CAPP or one/some of the prisoners fundraising campaigns. Above all, please remember to pray for them, their families, and the entire situation.
Whether you agree with their political beliefs or not, please look into this situation & think about how it would feel if it were you or your friend or family member. Also remember that a lot of these people are still pre-trial (what happened to innocent until proven guilty?).
Remember that this sets an alarming precedent for anyone who disagrees with the party in power.
