In “At the Movies” I link to TV shows and/or movies that have music in them…often harps (of course!). These might (or might not) be resources you’d like to add to your lending library or assign for students to find as some fun, away-from-the-instrument homework!
Today’s installment features an episode of Sabrina: The Teenage Witch.
In “Welcome Back Duke” (S4 E16), a harp is shown twice.
The first time is when the not-so-musical Sabrina tries to play trumpet, & just part of the harp is on the left side of the screen (stage right).
Then, Sabrina leans the harp back to play & falls off the bench (how does it not fall over? Yay for behind the scenes people!).
And bonus: Dick van Dyke does a little dancing.
What do you think of the show? A little too creepy with the whole witch thing, or a fun show? Let me know in the comments, but please remember to be nice. 🙂
