"O'Catolan" No-Sew DIY Catnip Harp

“O’Catolan” DIY Catnip Harp

Another cleverly named catnip-filled harp (well, well….MTV has a page on O’Carolan as well as Grandjany!)? This time no-sew?! If you thought the catnip harp project was cute, but sewing isn’t really your thing, here’s a great option for you to try. Especially since this week was International Cat Day.

SUPPLIES:

Cut your felt pieces the same as in the “Meowcel Grandjany” catnip harp project.

Paint your strings on using fabric glue. Again, you can make them mimic the order of real harp strings, or you can make them all one color. Once the strings are dry, add glue around the edges of the wrong side of one of your pieces. Sprinkle some catnip in the middle. Sandwich the pieces together and clamp. You might even be able to just set it under a heavy book.   Once it’s dry, gift it to your harp-loving cat and enjoy.
