Did you know that there are different types of harps? Different harps suit different needs, including affordability.
A few things I talk about in this video are:
- size
- portability
- price
- accidentals
Also, do beginners “move up” from one type of harp to another? Watch the video or my answer!
Harps in this video:
Camac Clio
Lyon & Healy Prelude
Dusty Strings Allegro
Lap harp is from a Music Makers* kit from long ago….I don’t think it’s on their website. But they do still have similar kits*!
If you purchase one of these harps as a result of this video, be sure to tell them I sent you!
You can also read a past blog post on the differences between pedal & lever harps in the archives.
What kind of harp do you play? Or would you like to play? Let me know on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, or in the comments below!
