DIY Wallpaper Harp Art

If you happen to have a wallpaper sample book or just some wallpaper scraps lying around, this is  a great way to use it! If you don’t have wallpaper, have no fear, you can use scrapbook paper or even construction paper.
SUPPLIES:
Picture Frame (I used the frame from this project)
Pencil
Wallpaper (or other type of paper)
Scrap Paper (the size of the frame, plus the size of the “harp”)
Glue Stick
Scissors
Ruler
Trim strips of wallpaper to approximately the length of your base page. Glue them down & trim the edges flush with the page.
Cut a harp shape from your remaining scrap paper.
Cut strips from the wallpaper & glue & trim like you did with the background.

I cut thinner strips & used one of the same pattern of wallpaper & one different one.

Add the harp to the background. You can secure it with glue or you can just place the two pieces in the frame.
And there you have it! The harp would probably “pop” more if I’d used more contrasting papers, but it’s more subtle the way it turned out.

What colors/patterns would you use on this project? Show me on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, or in the comments below!
