Small piece of leather (I used part of a belt)
Pliers & wire cutters (I used more than one pair)
Scissors
Leather cord or necklace chain
Three jump rings
Eyelet/Grommet
Hammer
Helpful: eyelet/grommet setting tool (I tried using a ball bearing, but it didn’t work too well)
Something to punch a hole in the leather
Next, poke/cut a hole where you want the eyelet to go. Be careful with this step!
I tried using a diy orange essential oil on one of the necklaces, but that one didn’t seem to work too well. The purchased oil seemed to work better as far as scenting it. Also, essential oil might irritate skin or stain clothes, so be careful.
You can style this necklace however you wish. With the leather cord, you can tie it & slide it over your head, tie it as a choker, or add clasps to make it more of a traditional necklace.
