Fischer Studio of Music recently had our first Fall Costumed Performance Party!
The theme was animals, and the reason I chose a theme was to try to make sure there were no scary or inappropriate costumes. It was called a performance party rather than a recital, because I wanted it to have a more informal feel than our Christmas and Spring recitals.
Our venue was an assisted living facility and I think it went well! It’s nice for the students to have that experience of giving to others through their musical talents and skills, and it’s also a fairly low-stress venue.
What do you do for fun performance opportunities?
