In “At the Movies” I link to TV shows and/or movies that have music in them…often harps (of course!). These might (or might not) be resources you’d like to add to your lending library or assign for students to find as some fun, away-from-the-instrument homework! Keep reading to see a little more about today’s highlight!

Today’s installment features an episode of Super Why! In the episode “Jack and the Beanstalk” Jack plays the harp in the storybook (of course!) and uses an interesting technique. 🙂 There are additional resources for the show (I’m not sure about the episode at the time of posting this blog entry) on the Super Why! website. If you’re looking for a DVD of the episode, you might try checking ebay*. Also, it sure seems like Thanksgiving snuck up on me! If you’re looking for some Thanksgiving activities, head over to this roundup of 5 Thanksgiving Music Activities.
What have you been enjoying on the tube lately? Let me know in the comments!
